PANCHA KARMA CHIKITSA
Panchakarma eliminates accumulated impurities from the body; it is essentially a detoxification program. It refers to different purifying and rejuvenating procedures. Each step in the program is purposeful and is meant to ultimately restore your body’s innate healing ability. Today, as improper diet, stress and environmental hazards abound, panchakarma can be of great help to have a healthy living.
ABHYANGASWEDANAM (REJUVENATION MASSAGE AND STEAMBATH)
Full body massage with herbal oil followed by a medicated steam bath.The Ayurvedic massage, induced with various high value ayurvedic oils, will treat the whole body, physically and mentally, strengthening the nervous system and nourishing the body from inside. Ancient Ayurvedic texts recommend this massage as a frequent routine for conditioning and revitalizing the body.
KIZHI
Kizhi is a technique used in the management of various pain-related conditions affecting the musculoskeletal and neuromuscular systems.. Essential herbs and oils are ground and bundled into linen sacks, and pressed against the body for maximum relief. Different types of kizhi treatments include:
Podikizhi: Massage with herbal powder bundles for pain and inflammation
Elakizhi : Massage with bundles of special herbal leaf preparations.
NJAVARAKIZHI
Njavaravakizhi is a rejuvenation ayurvedic therapy which is a whole body massage, where a mix of special rice and herbs filled inside a linen bundle is rubbed over the skin till your body sweats and exudes organic pollutants. This improves and nourishes muscles, complexion and skin tone.This traditional therapy has a three-step process,starts with Purva karma, the preparatory procedure, then the Pradhana Karma as the main procedure and the final step is Pashchat Karma or the post-procedure treatment.
UDHWARTHANAM / POWDER MASSAGE
Udhwarthanam is a treatment procedure in which the whole body (below the neck) is massaged with powders of herbes in a direction opposite to the orientation of hair by two therapists simultaneously. Inunction with special herbal powder. This treatment helps to reduce the fat patches from the body known as cellulites, toning of muscles, improves blood circulation, eases joint pain, promotes the excellence of skin, leads to a sense of lightness in the body.
PIZHICHIL
Pizhichil is a traditional Ayurvedic treatment involving soft massage of the whole body in streams of lukewarm medicated oils. This Ayurvedic treatment combines oil and heat therapy to improve blood circulation and eliminate Ama or toxins from your body. The medicated oil is poured on your body by squeezing it out from a cloth following which a rejuvenating massage is given. SHIRODHARA

NASYAM

Siddha
Siddha system is one of the oldest systems of medicine in India. The principles and doctrines of this system, both fundamental and applied, have a close similarity to Ayurveda, with specialization in iatrochemistry. This system of medicine is of Dravidian origin.
Siddha system has enormous pharmacopeia containing vegetable, animal and mineral products and treatment techniques. According to the Siddha medicine system, diet and lifestyle play a major role in health and in curing diseases. Varma therapy is traditional manipulative therapy of Siddha for the treatment of physical injuries and musculoskeletal problems. This is based on the 108 vital points that are junctions of bones, tendons, ligaments, blood vessels and nerves called Varma points. Pranic energy is found is found concentrated in these points which, upon manipulation, produce a curative effect.
Sujok
SuJok is a treatment system comprised of a variety of techniques that prevent and cure illness and restore health without any drugs. Our hands (“su” in Korean) and feet (“jok”) represent our entire body in miniature. In fact, they represent a smaller, but nevertheless true, mirror image of the whole body (for example, the thumbs and big toes represent the head). The same way we use a remote control to operate a television, we can use our hands and feet to influence our whole body and cure disease. By understanding the exact similarities between various parts of the body and the hands and feet, one can influence any place or problem using the corresponding Su Jok treatment. Knowledge of the principles of hand and foot therapy provides an impressive vehicle for healthcare without any side effects or dietary restrictions.
Kalari Marma Therapy
Kalari Marma therapy is an ancient south Indian warrior therapy specially developed to treat and prevent injuries and pain-related conditions. It mainly concentrates on 108 vital points that are junctions of bones, tendons, ligaments, blood vessels and nerves called Marma points.All Kalari medicines are made from herbs, leaves and tree bark from plants and trees that are locally available in Kerala. These medicinal plants are ground and made into a paste by adding oil, ghee or egg white and are then applied around the affected area for bone setting. After placing the affected part of the body in the correct position, wood/twigs will be used as a support to immobilize the limb.
